In support of the journey to truth and reconciliation through my artistry

The Northwestern Catholic School Board's approach in joining the journey to Truth and Reconciliation, connecting faith and the communities.

Their decision to recreate all five logos for each of their schools within the school division... to honor the indigenous community and culture.

"I was honored as the chosen artist to recreate the logos"

An Oji-Cree from the Hollow Water First Nation, Treaty 5 Territory in Manitoba.

I am of First Nation decent and was brought up Catholic, I respect my up-bringing and how I was raised with strong values and faith.

My late grandmother who was a residential school survivor, taught me to always be proud of who I was and to keep on the sunny side of life.

This is how I honor her along with all the lost children and remaining survivors of residential schools.  Through my god given talent and artistry.
