The Calm was created from a place of feeling defeated and from the realization that, no matter how difficult life may feel in the moment, there is always a calm after the storm.

I wanted this painting to carry a message of hope—a reminder that the storms we face do not last forever. Sometimes we are meant to walk through difficult seasons so that we can grow, discover our strength and become better versions of ourselves.

The Calm is a reminder to keep going, to hold onto hope, and to trust that even after the darkest storms, peaceful waters will come again.
